(all times subject to change... check your weekly email for the latest schedules)

Please wear your Friday t-shirt to school on game day.

Students, please bring a sack supper to eat before departure for the game.

3:21pm    School Dismissed

3:50pm    Run-through at CHS.  Wear your Friday t-shirt with shorts, black socks,

                and marching shoes

4:30pm    Load instrument trailers, then eat.  Make sure you have your full uniform

ready in your garment bag and hatbox!

4:45pm   Load buses and depart

7:30pm   Kickoff

11:30pm-12:30am (approximately)   Buses and trailers arrive back at CHS

Parents - When you come to Carroll High School to pick up your students after the game, please wait in the north parking lot (the lot where the band rehearses)

Do NOT pull into the circular drive in front of CHS.

That space must be kept clear so the eight buses and four instrument trailers can all pull up to the Band Hall and unload safely.

Everyone will get home a lot more quickly and easily if we don't have a bunch of cars blocking the way!

PARKING AT DRAGON STADIUM

All students in Band, Drill Team, Cheerleader, and Crew uniforms who drive themselves to the game will not have to pay for parking.  BUT in order to park free, you MUST park in the newer section at the back of the Home side parking lot.  (Yes, that's a long walk, but it's good for you.)  There will be parent volunteers directing you to the area.

Free parking is only available to unaccompanied students.

Parents who drive their students to the game must pay $3 to park just like the general public and may park anywhere on the Home side.  Please avoid using the Visitors' side parking lot either for tailgating or parking, as that area has a much smaller number of spaces and must be reserved for visiting teams' fans.

STUDENT DROP-OFF AT DRAGON STADIUM

Preferred  --  Approaching Dragon Stadium from the North on Silicon Drive, you should drop off at the South East corner of the Fieldhouse, what we call the SE gate.  There will be signs there to indicate the location.  This way your child can be safely let out the passenger side, he will have just a short walk in, and you will quickly be on your way.

Not Preferred  --  If you approach Dragon Stadium from the South on Silicon Drive, you can enter the SE Fieldhouse entrance.  Please understand that it is difficult to handle outgoing traffic at that time, and you will probably be delayed leaving the stadium.  It's really a MUCH better idea to come from the north.

What NOT to do  --  Do not enter or try to drop off at the South Gate (by the bus barn) as we are usually very busy there.  Do not go in the North Gate.  Do not drop off at the NE Fieldhouse gate (home side gate) as this gate is used for buses, coaches, etc. and turning you around when they are approaching is a big problem.

Most Importantly: Please do NOT drop your child off on the East side of Silicon Drive or the South side of Kimball where he has to cross a street to get to the stadium.  There have been several near misses in the past, and your child's safety is paramount!
